Lock your bike safely and securely when you park in the Slabtown neighborhood. Northwest Portland’s Zone M has a special bike parking fund paid by the parking permit surcharge to buy bike racks for business, residential, and mixed-use buildings.

Scoot Safely

To keep yourself and others safe while you ride an e-scooter, you should follow many of the same practices you might to ride a bike safely: wear a helmet, travel in bike lanes or on quiet streets, and don't ride on the sidewalk. Bike Share

Need wheels but don’t have your own? No problem! BIKETOWN is Portland's bike share program with 1,500 e-bikes at 180 stations across downtown and several neighborhoods. The system is designed for quick trips with convenience in mind, and it’s a fun and affordable way to get around.

Adaptive BIKETOWN is Portland’s adaptive bike rental program. In 2022, Adaptive BIKETOWN will offer free one-hour rides for anyone experiencing a disability or anyone unable to ride a two-wheeled bicycle. The Transportation Wallet offers both Adaptive BIKETOWN and electric-assist (e-bike) ride options.
