Parking Access

Slabtown is located in the Northwest Parking District with many on-street and off-street parking options. Starting in mid-October 2019, the metered parking area expanded to include the area between Lovejoy and Savier St., and NW 16th and 20th Ave. Learn more about PBOT’s NW Parking Management programs.

Parking Permits

Slabtown is located in Parking Zone M. Parking permits cost $195 and are limited to one per licensed driver. The number of permits available per business and residence is limited. Apply for a parking permit here.

Carpool Parking

Portland Carpool Program provides two public parking options for carpoolers: an on-street carpool permit, and a SmartPark Garage carpool permit. Carpool permits can be used at any 5-hour on-street parking space near Slabtown. Click here to find carpool locations or to apply for a carpool permit.

NW Visitor Parking

It’s now easier for visitors to find off-street parking in Portland’s bustling Northwest District. Check out this online map showing off-street lots open to visitors in NW; the nearest lot to Slabtown is located at NW 21st Ave and NW Pettygrove St.

Share a Ride

Get There is the Oregon Department of Transportation’s new tool to help match commuters with potential carpools. Find a nearby driver to share a ride to work or fill an empty seat in your car.

Hail a Ride

No wheels? No problem. If you don’t have a car or want to avoid parking, Slabtown is serviced by on-demand and advance scheduled ride-hailing services including Lyft, Uber, and local taxi companies. Radio Cab is located nearby at NW 16th Ave and NW Kearney St.

Borrow a Ride

Slabtown has ZipCar vehicles at NW Pettygrove St and 20th Ave. ZipCar provides on-demand access to drive cars by the hour or the day to give you freedom and flexibility without the commitment of owning a car.

Slabtown is also within the Free2Move free-floating car share service area. Free2Move is one of the benefits in the Transportation Wallet. When you receive your Transportation Wallet, you receive $30 credit with Free2Move.
